Buffalo Cauliflower

Make these delicious vegan wings your favorite comfort food. These Buffalo cauliflower wings are baked, not fried and absolutely delicious! Enjoy the spiciness!

Ingredients

1 head cauliflower
96g flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 cup plant based milk
1/2 red hot sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon agave syrup

Method

  • Wash the cauliflower and separate the florets (let it dry)
  • Preheat the oven 230°
  • In a bowl, add 96g of flour (all purpose or whole wheat as I did)
  • Add salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper and milk
  • Mix all the above
  • dip the cauliflower florets in the mixture and make sure they are all covered in this creamy sauce,
  • place them on an oven baking plate and bake for 20 min

Option 1. Sauce

  • Mix 1/2 cup red hot sauce I prefer Frank’s Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup

Option 2. Home-made Vegan Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter melted or refined melted coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup hot pepper sauce any red and spicy one
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1/4 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste

Method 2

  • Take the cauliflower florets out of the oven and cover them in the sauce you just made
  • put them back in the oven for another 20 min to finish
